You can donate goods for needs such as clothing food, building materials, tools, household goods, furniture, school /office materials, medical supplies, sports/ musical equipment and more. Or contact us to find out our most pertinent needs.
Financial Contribution
If you consider making a one time, monthly or annual financial gift to Minto Children’s Home. You can designate money towards a specific project, or give a general gift to be used for our everyday expenses and needs.
Sponsorship
Below is an estimate budget per child
- Break fast, Lunch and Supper. USD. 2.5 equivalent to Ksh. 250/- per day per child (Ksh. 7500 per month) Three square meals
- School Uniforms and shoes USD. 35 equivalent to Ksh. 3500/- per term
- School fees for primary school is cater for by the government of Kenya
- School fees for secondary school for the eight girls varies per term.
Currently the orphanage is hosting 22 girls, 8 girls in secondary school and rest in various primary school within Mombasa. The above budget does not include salaries for cooks and care takers.
